At CETSAT we take real pride in developing home grown talent. This week we are delighted to recognise a significant achievement within our technical team. Our IT Engineer, Nathan Hawkey, has successfully completed his QA Apprenticeship with a Distinction. It is an outstanding result and a reflection of the commitment, skill and professionalism he brings to his work every day.
Apprenticeships are an important part of how we grow the next generation of IT specialists in Yeovil and across Somerset. They allow talented individuals to gain industry experience while working on real projects that support the businesses we look after. Nathan has shown exactly what is possible when technical learning is matched with curiosity, discipline and a genuine passion for problem solving.
Throughout his apprenticeship Nathan has worked across a wide range of managed IT services and client support tasks. From first line troubleshooting through to more complex infrastructure work, he has consistently demonstrated the reliability and calm approach that our clients value. His distinction result reflects the quality of his learning, but also the support of the wider CETSAT technical team who invest time in mentoring and developing new engineers.
This success also highlights the strength of the apprenticeship route for anyone considering an IT career. Whether it is cybersecurity, IT support, software, cloud services or digital transformation, hands on learning continues to be one of the most effective ways to build real world capability.
We are proud to have Nathan as part of the team and even prouder to see his hard work recognised at this level.
